Wine and food in the head, but also fashion, engineering and more. There are many family business stories that have brought made in Italy to the world. And some of these will be awarded in the framework of “Senato & Cultura” n. 24, by the President of the Senate Elisabetta Casellati, Saturday 16 July (11 am), in the Legislative Hall of Palazzo Madama (and live on Rai Uno), which will deliver the recognition of excellence of Made in Italy to seven Italian entrepreneurs. To hold high the flag of the tricolor wine, will be Josè Rallo, representing the Rallo family (Donnafugata), one of the winery that has been able to innovate the style and perception of Sicilian wine in the world.
“Emotion, pride but also a renewed sense of responsibility – commented Josè Rallo, head of Donnafugata, with his brother Antonio Rallo – Italy is an extraordinary country that has its own winning model in its family productive fabric. Contributing to its success in the world is a source of great satisfaction ”. But for the world of Italian food, there will also be Guido Barilla, president of the Barilla Group, one of the most famous Italian brands in the world for pasta, and Giuseppina Amarelli, at the helm of the historic Calabrian liquorice company.
In addition to Leonardo Ferragamo, president of the Salvatore Ferragamo fashion label, Francesca Catelli, of the Catelli family, founder of the Artsana group (which controls brands such as Chicco and Prenatal, among others), to Lugi Cimolai, president of the Cimolai Group, which creates great steel works all over the world, and Antonio Marras, stylist and standard bearer from Sardinia (and who, over the years, has signed special projects related to wine, with wineries such as Argiolas, for example, for which he signed the Turriga label 2008, harvest n.20 of one of the greatest wines of Sardinia, or Sella & Mosca, of the Terra Moretti group, for which he redesigned the wine labels, in 2018, ed).
