Once the grapes have been harvested in the territories of Italian wine, it is time to “live” it in the city, with the boutiques of the global luxury brands of high fashion and jewelry in the most famous and glamorous “District” of Milan that return to host the most prestigious Italian and international wine brands and their most famous labels, renewing the increasingly “fashion” combination among great wines and fashion brands. From 11 to 17 October, “La Vendemmia di MonteNapoleone” is back, edition n. 12 of the event signed by MonteNapoleone District with exclusive tastings in the “icon” shops of the Milanese fashion district, in the name of taste, elegance and beauty, alongside events in the event, sensory combinations and dedicated menus in gourmet restaurants, guided tours with wine tastings in exceptionally open private museums, Winery Tours from the city to the cellars and ” search ”of the White Truffle of Alba in the Langhe. AND all this, while waiting for the partnership with the capital’s “twin” event, “La Vendemmia di Roma”, to be renewed, on stage from 18 to 24 October.
From Via MonteNapoleone to Via Sant’Andrea, from Via Verri to Via Santo Spirito, from Via Gesù to Via Bagutta and Via S. Pietro all’Orto, and not only in a new “Milanese week” in the name of great wines, with “La Vendemmia di MonteNapoleone” – promoted by the Association that brings together over 130 Global Luxury Brands and 5-star luxury partner hotels, with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and Confcommercio-Imprese for Italy, and in collaboration with the Great Cru of Italy Committee, “International Alba White Truffle Fair”, Dynamo Camp and Valverde – the fashion heart of Milan, alongside the tastings in boutiques, will be animated by events such as the “Italian Masters” charity auction held by Christie’s in favor of Dynamo Camp Onlus, scheduled for 12 October at the Hotel Principe di Savoia. With the proceeds from the sale of 32 lots of great wines from the Grandi Cru d’Italia Committee and works of art from the Dynamo Art Factory project, in addition to the Nft rights of the works, which will be used to welcome and host 18 families with affected children from koolen’s syndrome or neurological diseases / rare genetic syndromes in the long weekend at the end of October dedicated to the Dynamo Families.
What if with an expanded network of 20 renowned restaurants in the center of Milan, the proposal of special menus of starred dishes and recipes signed by the most famous chefs in the city will be even richer (and at the price of 35 euros for lunch and 70 euros for dinner), the appointment with culture is also confirmed with guided tours accompanied by tastings inside some private museum pearls of the Milanese heart, in addition to the Municipal Museum of Palazzo Morando-Costume Moda Immagine. In particular, on 12 October the Casa del Manzoni will offer a tasting of Cru Noà, Tenuta Presti and Pegni of Cantine Cusumano in honor of the great writer and poet who is also passionate about vines and good wine. The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum with its Renaissance beauties will instead offer on October 13 a real experience on the Neo-Renaissance terrace with the tasting of Altemasi Trentodoc, while on October 14 it will offer a special placée tasting in the Hall of Honor. At Palazzo Morando, in the company of Extra Brut Millesimato Frecciarossa, a journey through time through paintings and sculptures will show the change in the city from the seventeenth century to the thirties of the twentieth century. At the same time as the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, you will be led through rooms full of precious paintings, carpets, porcelains, clocks and other objects of decorative arts, up to the Pollaiolo Terrace, set up for a tasting of V8 + Prosecco Doc Brut Berto. And if October 15th is scheduled the exclusive Wine Tasting “Only for true connoisseurs” of the best labels of the Great Cru of Italy Committee in the setting of Palazzo Serbelloni, the museum week of “La Vendemmia” which will end on October 17 at Le Gallerie d’Italia-Piazza Scala with a journey through the beauties and landscapes that characterize the beautiful country and a special tasting of Ferrari Maximum Blanc de Blancs Trentodoc, from Vòce in Giardino by Aimo and Nadia, in the prestigious garden of Alessandro Manzoni.
But the experience of “La Vendemmia” will not end in Milan because through the Winery Tours some of the wineries of the Great Cru of Italy Committee will open their doors with exclusive experiences dedicated to wine lovers over the weekend of 16 and 17 October, while on 30 October and 6 and 7 November it will be possible to go in search of the White Truffle of Alba starting from Roddi in the Langhe, accompanied by a trifolau and his trusty dog, thanks to the collaboration of the “International Alba White Truffle Fair”. But there will also be cooking classes in the suggestive setting of the Roddi Castle, where guests will try their hand at preparing a dish with truffles paired with the finest wines of the area. In addition, a master of the National Center for Truffle Studies will be in Milan, on 11 October, in the Montenapoleone Vip Lounge, for a sensory analysis in which to discover the organoleptic characteristics of the Tuber Magnum Pico.
“We strongly believe that the formula of” La Vendemmia “based on the combination of wine, haute cuisine, fashion and culture best interprets the distinctiveness of the Italian lifestyle in the world, of which Milan confirms itself as the undisputed ambassador – underlines the president of MonteNapoleone District, Guglielmo Miani – an event that has traditionally become a real experience to celebrate the start of the Milanese autumn “.
